Anchor is an intense driven quartet from Los Angeles that combines melodic vocals with rock riffs and danceable back-beats. The band was originally formed in 1994, eventually disbanding in 1996. But, Anchor has joined forces again in 2002. Anchor consists of former members of LTT, Kevin Kayhart and Aaron Swanson, original White Zombie drummer Ivan de Prume and former Chlorine front-man Mark Fain.
LTT released the independent CD “Strain” and toured the West Coast extensively in the 1990’s. Mark Fain toured the United States extensively throughout the 1990’s. And, he recently toured and played on the Chlorine Time Bomb/Arista/BMG Records release of “Primer.” Chlorine garnered extensive radio and television airplay in various parts of the United States, and was voted Houston’s “best band” in 1999.
